During the course of your studies, you will be required to produce many pieces of academic writing, including your thesis. Many people find this prospect daunting, but the reality is that writing a thesis follows the same process as any other piece of writing – it just takes a little longer!
In this workshop, Dr Malini Devadas (academic editor and writing coach) will present the seven-step process she uses to help academics create publications that are clear, concise and compelling. This process has helped many academics increase their confidence and write more efficiently and can be applied to journal articles, grant applications and theses.
Who is this workshop for?
- Early- to mid-stage PhD and masters by research students (including new research students)
- While this workshop is primarily intended for the above audience, any researcher wanting to refresh their writing process will find it useful.
